  • Entrance Fees and Tipping Entrance fees to all sites: Approximately USD $210–230 per person, payable in local currency during the tour
  • Tipping Kitty: Approximately USD $70–90 per person, collected in local currency to cover group tips for local staff such as drivers, bellhops, and porters.
  • Tip for your tour guide (Egypt and Jordan): Not included in the tipping kitty. We recommend budgeting USD $8 per traveller, per day as a personal gesture of appreciation. However, tipping your guide is optional and entirely up to you.

Sunday – Begin your Egypt adventure in the vibrant capital city of Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and unwind after your journey.

Arriving early? Maximize your first day with an optional Backstreets of Cairo tour, exploring hidden gems such as the impressive Cave Church of St. Simon and the iconic Tahrir Square — the historic heart of modern Cairo.
