After breakfast, begin a fascinating journey to Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world and often referred to as the “Jewel of the North.” Explore its impressive colonnaded streets, ancient theaters, temples, and public squares that reflect over 6,500 years of history.
Later, return to Amman for a guided city tour of Jordan’s modern capital, also known as the “White City” due to its beautiful limestone buildings. Visit the Amman Citadel, home to the Temple of Hercules, the Umayyad Palace, and the Byzantine Church. Continue to the magnificent Roman Theatre, a 6,000-seat amphitheater dating back to the Roman era when Amman was known as Philadelphia.

After breakfast, travel south along the historic King’s Highway, one of the oldest trade routes in the world. Your first stop is Madaba, famous for the remarkable 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land located inside St. George’s Church.
Continue to Mount Nebo, believed to be the burial site of Prophet Moses, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views over the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Jerusalem on clear days.
Drive through the breathtaking landscapes of Wadi Al Mujib, often called the “Grand Canyon of Jordan,” before visiting the impressive Kerak Castle, a massive Crusader fortress built in 1132 AD.
Arrive in Petra in the evening and check into your hotel. Guests may choose to join the optional Petra by Night experience, where the Treasury is illuminated by over 1,500 candles.
