After breakfast, begin your unforgettable exploration of Egypt’s most iconic archaeological treasures with a guided visit to the legendary Pyramids of Giza. Marvel at the Great Pyramid of King Khufu, the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, and the mysterious Great Sphinx, one of the most recognizable symbols of ancient civilization. Enjoy plenty of time to walk around the plateau and capture stunning panoramic photographs.

Continue to the ancient necropolis of Saqqara, home to the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the oldest large-scale stone structure ever built. Designed by the famous architect Imhotep around 2700 BC, this groundbreaking monument marked the beginning of pyramid construction in ancient Egypt.

Your cultural journey also includes a visit to the government-supervised Papyrus Museum, where you’ll learn about the ancient Egyptian art of papyrus making and admire beautiful handmade artworks created using traditional techniques.

Following breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of the spectacular Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza, one of the world’s largest archaeological museums. Spanning nearly 490,000 square meters, the museum houses an extraordinary collection of treasures from ancient Egypt, including the magnificent artifacts of King Tutankhamun and many objects displayed publicly for the very first time.

Later, continue to the historic Egyptian Museum in downtown Cairo, home to a priceless collection of statues, royal jewelry, sarcophagi, and ancient mummies. Discover the remarkably preserved mummies of Yuya and Thuyu, whose hair and fingernails remain visible after thousands of years.

After the tour, return to the hotel for some leisure time before transferring to the railway station to board your overnight sleeper train to Aswan in a comfortable private cabin.

Arrive in Aswan this morning and begin your sightseeing with a scenic boat ride to Agilkia Island, home to the magnificent Philae Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis. Afterward, enjoy a brief stop at a traditional perfume oil shop before boarding your luxurious Nile Cruise, your floating hotel for the next three nights.
